I've been in store on multiple occasions with some last minute and far fetched requests and each time they've gone above and beyond to help me (especially Rex). I would recommend this particular store for any home wares and or furniture shopping you may need to do. And in my experience, let them know if you're not sure, they'll do their best to make suggestions that might fit the bill!

We visited the store today and were very impressed with the staff member Rex. He is one of the best sales persons we have dealt with. He was professional, personable, knew his products and was very honest. He is a fabulous face for the company.nWe will be back

I used to love Early Settler and have been a good customer both in Australia and New Zealand. However their delivery system is out of the dark ages and is an exercise in rip-off prices and frustration. I ordered a bedside cabinet online which I knew was going to be a few weeks away which was fine. Then it was delayed by a week. Lots of emails and calls from head office. Then when it finally arrived in store I had no follow-up communication from head office from the week before to say when it would be delivered. More calls to head office. Was supposed to be Thursday, poor communication between the store and head office now means it's today Friday. I was assured I'd get a call as soon as it left the store and a time from the courier. I phoned the store only to get attitude from the person I spoke to. I'm paying $90 delivery for one small furniture item from a store that is 2kms down the road from me. Why is it so difficult?? I am unable to collect myself and ES give you no other scaled options with delivery which is ridiculous. As much as I love their product I grit my teeth when I know it's delivery time because the process is so long and painful. How is it that other stores are able to offer far more reasonable delivery, executed less painfully, based on the size and distance of your purchase? I won't be back.

Surprised by how much I enjoyed this retail space - really interesting variety and various price points. Used to dislike the service at Early Settler but think they may have sorted this!
