Avis Car & Truck Rental Broken Hill

I arrived into Broken Hill last night, flight delayed, only to find no one nor no instructions on how to contact anyone with regards to my booking.nThere was an empty desk, and a phone. There were NO directions, such as ‘pick up the phone and you will be connected with our agent’nLuckily someone at a competitors desk gave me the directions. I did call only to get someone telling me to leave my number and they would return my call.nLuckily i didn’t wait for that, because it is now the next morning 7.32 am and still no one has called me back re my booking.nLuckily a kindly airport employee gave me a ride to my hotel.nVery bad form Avis!nOther car rental desks left keys etc for their bookings and people were able to drive away.nMy advice choose another car rental company if coming to Broken Hill.nA very unpleasant experience when arriving at night into an outback town.
