Avis Car & Truck Rental Campbelltown

We hired a 12seater bus to drive to Brisbane, on our way there we stopped at Ballina to get petrol and we opened door and light came on there were cockroaches everywhere on the floor of the bus. They gave us a bus that was infested with roaches and never bother to fumigate it. There is a good chance we might have it in our place. When we got back I told the lady about it and she froze like she already knew. Now they want us to pay $500 for excess kilometres and did not wave it due to the infestation or give us a discount because of it. I’ve taken photos Of the boot where the roaches where crawling including number plate In case they want to deny it. But it won’t let me post the photos on here for the owner. I’m a take it up with their head office.

Hired one of there vehicles and at night when I went to jump in there were little German roaches all over the floor. Told the lady and she didn’t really seem to be surprised. Cheapest but now I know why

Great place if you need a hire car.

My experience with the car rental was great until we had to return the vehicle. As usual I would fill up the rental prior to returning, however after stopping at 2 petrol stations to fill up full and the gauge still showing 1 empty bar, there was an obvious fault with the cars fuel gauge. I went to return the vehicle prior to our time and I explained to the avis representative where I have filled up and have experienced with the fuel gauge. She then checked and when she looked back and questioned me her attitude changed. I am not sure if it was because she was annoyed that the car was not full or because she started judging me because of my ethnicity but it sure felt like it. It was obvious she started to stereotype me but she gave me a chance to go back to the third petrol station. I came back after filling up $1.40 at the gas station and even the attendant asked of there was an issue with the gauge as I had taken a photo of filling again, shaking the car to make sure there was no extra room in the tank. The gauge still sat at one bar short and I returned it, when I did. Louise's face morphed and her attitude became mean. I explained to her I just filled up and she her my photo of the petrol spilling out, she laughed at me. I proceed to tell her about my frustrations and she just ignored my concerns and continued to say no we are going to charge you. I then asked her I would like her to accompany to petrol station to witness the filling of the car. She asked for receipts on my petrol stops and I said I don't have them but I was willing to go back and get them as proof. She declined then said if I could come back. After leaving I got a call advising the gauge was at fault. The apology was not sincere, especially coming from a customer service background, I'd expect better service and instead of making customers more frustrated, sympathise with them and then deal with situation with a solution.

Extremely rude customer service, would not recommend them at all not helpful either
