Eureka Street Furniture Rockhampton

I have to write a letter to Head office to discuss a refund, my circumstances have changed. I have decided to keep it, not worth the hassle. I thought the government changed the rules about refunds? They don't mind taking your money. Still waiting for my order!!! I've just phoned & another hold up!!!!!! I'll never purchase from Eureka street furniture Again!!!!!!!!! I give them a -zero

I would give these guys a 0 out of 5 stars if I could! Ordered a table in May, had to pay for the table in full for Eureka to order it. Was told it would arrive by the start of August. Hadn't heard anything towards the end of August, went into the store. Was told wouldn't arrive now until the start of September and I should wait because it was only another week away and I was 24th out of 240 people waiting for the same table. I said "so it'll be here in store in Rockhampton in about a week" and then the story changed to it'll be arriving in the docks in about a week and then its another 2 weeks after that until it'll get to Rockhampton. I said not good enough and asked for a refund, was told I could only have a store credit with a 6 month expiry. I accepted and was told it would be emailed through later on today. I waited and hadnt received it, so I rung the store the next day. I got the store manager and she argued that her staff don't give out dates however I had 2 different sales people give me dates that my table would arrive (first when I ordered it and again the day before I rung her) she argued and defended her staff which to me, knowing full well they did give dates, made her look ridiculously incompetent as she has no idea what her staff are actually up too. I ended up ordering a mirror that was in stock down south just so i didn't lose my $640 dollars, when we got the mirror it was bowed. I didn't even bother arguing this time because its not worth the stress however I am NEVER buying from Eureka again, absolutely appalling service and quality of furniture!

New staff are very rude! They have been telling us a different date for furniture arrival for the last 3 months. Store credit for what ? You cannot purchase anything off the floor. # Theresa is lovely and helpful:)

New staff here are rude!. people have been waiting months for their order to hit the shop. My sister has been given 3 different dates as to when she will be receiving her purchase. No refund is allowed which is completely wrong!! No point getting store credit as it will take months to get it anyway. Place is a joke and i will not be recommending to anyone.

We bought furniture in June and were given a mid August delivery eta - this has been continually pushed out and we have now been told mid October depending on customs. Very disappointed that we were given completely unrealistic delivery times.
