I dread shoe-hunting as my feet are so hard to fit but wonderful Jennifer really knows shoes and understands feet. She was friendly, super helpful, patient but definitely not pushy. We had a lengthy search and finding something just right & on a very good special was the icing on the cake!

I am a 67 year old male who has spent almost all my life bush walking and hiking and to do so for so long I have always purchased good shoes for my feet.nI had a trip planed for overseas and need a pair of multipurpose shoes that would be good for walking and look reasonable for social events after shopping around I came upon a pair of SPF Airstream and found them extremely comfortable right from the get go.nI wore them around at home a little to get used to them and then headed off on my trip.nSadly I only got about 20 hours wear out of them before the inner heal began to deteriorate to the point where I was suffering huge blisters and could no longer wear them. When I arrived home I returned to Simpson's Shoes at Lambton in Newcastle just to show them the deterioration and hopefully to get contact information so I could inform the manufacture of the fault.nWhen I first spoke to the sales lady about how quickly they had deteriorated she took them away and shortly an arrogant man ( Whom I now know to be Craig Simpson) marched towards me from the back of the store and confronted me with the statement that the fault was mine because supposedly of the way I put my shoes on and off. His reasoning for this statement was because the outside upper portion of the heal had a crease in the leather finish.nI will say here I was not alone and my friend was shocked by his attitude after demonstrating just how I removed and put shoes on my feet he stormed off without a by your leave. My natural instinct was to throw the shoes at him and walk out but the sales person not kindly replaced them with another pair. Upon arriving home I opened the laces widely and slipped the shoes on my feet as I always do with my forefinger placed inside the heal for easy access. I walked around a little and low and behold there is a crease in the leather of the outside upper portion of the heal. My initial intent was not to get them replaced but to ask for contact details of the manufacturer so I could personally relay to them my experience. If I had been given the chance to explain my intent that is exactly what I would have relayed to the sales person but sadly I was not given that chance.nI only gave one star because I couldn't post this review without it. If I could give a minus I would prefer to do so.
