I'm not usually one for reviews, but I picked up a pair of Crazy Horse Doc Martens from this store, and my experience with Pedro was by far the best I've had in retail. I was unsure about the sizing and feel of the docs, especially since they fit 2 normal sizes down on me. Pedro offered a great balance between advice, questioning the fit and allowing me time to try them myself. He sounded very passionate about what he does and it absolutely shows, retail needs more like him ! Cheers.

I dropped by on Monday to purchase a new pair of shoe laces for my Stan Smiths which are looking a little worse for wear. I got chatting with Antoinette and Luke and they suggested a few cleaning products. after much deliberation and tossing up what to buy. Antoinette very kindly offered to try giving them a scrub with an old product which has been since discontinued. I walked out of their with the freshest, whitest kicks you ever seen!nI'm walking faster, looking fresh, shoes feel extra comfy. I went in a humble man looking for some laces and came out the flyest G in town. Amazing customer service! Couldn't recommend the BJ platypus team enoughnLove your work Antoinette!n10/10

There seems to be a lot of strange reviews about the noise or customer service - I had a great experience in store. But the heel of my shoe had completely fallen into disrepair and now chafes my heels to the point it’s unwearable. Within 3 months.nnWhen I brought this up through the returns process they said that’s normal and there is nothing they can do.nn$140, sporadic wear, not covered by returns.nn- To update, This was reviewed and the ware and tear was deemed normal. So just be aware that Platypus Shoes consider 3-4 months to be a decent amount of time for a $140 pair of shoes to last.

Click and Collect is a total waste of time!nHow is it more convenient than just walking in and purchasing when they make me wait 8 hours before the shoes are ready for collection. Sorry Platypus, I'll never purchase from you (or any Accent Grpup store) ever again!!
