Thrifty Car and Truck Rental

The matter is about a booking that was undertaken with your Thrifty hub at 8 Carrington road Marrickville, 11th March 2021. As a repeat paying customer enquiring whether there is a vehicle available and if so, how much it would cost for the hire of the car, I was served by an individual whom I believe his name is Michael as I have not been served by this gentleman before. The inquiry made was to give the employee time to find out some basic information relating to the time and cost of hiring a vehicle. The concern I have is the lack of customer service and inconsistency relating to the matter of how this gentleman was unable to provide me with the most basic of responses any customer would endeavour to have answered, yet still not be able to book in a vehicle for me even though the request was being made a few hours before requiring the vehicle. First, it was system issues, then it was the wrong amount, I wasn't hiring a Porsche, it was a small to medium SUV, then it was let me call my manager, then there was its all sorted, my manager will book it for you, did she? Then it was sorry haven't booked it yet, I needed to pick up my kids, yet I get advised just do a vehicle pre-inspection, even though the car was not yet booked, the employee suggests, I'll get my colleague to sort you out the following day, total confusion on his part, again lack of consistency. If I had known I would have my time wasted, I would have gone to another provider and given them the business, after all, I was paying to hire the car and got no efficient service the whole time I was there. I hope in the future this does not happen to anyone else, it would be a shame for thrifty to lose a valued customer. I even emailed the manager, do you think she even got back to me. Still waiting.

Had the car scratch removed at this hub, happy with the results, car was also washed and cleaned.
