Redspot Car Rentals

I've used Redspot on a number of occasions during the last few years and it's always been a speedy and straightforward experience. One time the office was unattended, but after I'd rung the phone number a staff member arrived just minutes later. My main criteria is cost and this company seems to do better than many others on that front. Having said that, I was impressed with the condition and cleanliness of the car, and I found the person I spoke with to be extremely polite, clear and concise.

When you make a booking initially, everything is fine. If an issue occurs and you have to speak to the 'senior person' there, good luck. The manager wastes a lot of time by not answering questions directly. The manager doesn't have the best English or most intelligible accent either. I had to go through three staff members to get a direct answer. Stop reading from a script, guys. Use logic, honesty and ethics. Appreciate the customer and his or her time. And don't be so dodgy as to charge people for damage before they have even returned the car! You should inspect a car before charging people for damage. Talk about unethical

So happy with my experience with this rental company. I've had to use them several times in the last few weeks while waiting for my car to be fixed. The staff are FIVE STARS! So friendly, professional and accommodating to my needs. The price is less than half for three days hire, compared to the daily rate of other companies . If I ever need another rental car I will be coming back. I highly recommend to others wanting a quality, clean rental car for affordable prices.

Horrible, convoluted conversations. Nobody can give a straight answer. You'll end up having a lot of time-wasting conversations. They charge you for damage that you do not cause. Go with more reputable companies instead. It's not worth the stress.

Fantastic service and amazing rates. Car was spotless, and a larger model than what I booked. Totally painless experience - would definitely recommend Red Spot over any of the bigger name rental companies.
