Avoid at all costs!nReceived a car through them during an insurance claim. Nobody checked the car when we returned it and 3 days later we were received a charge on our credit card. After trying to get a hold of them for a whole day, they informed me that we were charged for keeping the car for an extra day despite having permission from the insurer to keep it the extra day. When we informed Avis of this they told us that it was because we didn't fill up the car with petrol before returning it. Luckily I had photographed the entire car when we picked it up and returned it, including the fuel receipt from few minutes before we dropped it off. Although they agreed to return the money which will take up to 10 days, their demeanour has been unprofessional and they clearly tried to rip us off.

Be vary careful, Avis Ripped me off over $700.nNo one will ever answer the phone.nQuoted daily rate was not what they charged.nThe call center staff are not interested and rude.nMisinformation and out and out lies.n9 months and still no resolution.nI have given up.nHertz seem to have turned a corner though.

Very hateful. Two weeks after returning the car, 85$ was deducted from my credit card without any email notification to notify me. It was an act of fraud.

Easy pick up and drop off.nFriendly staff.nClean vehicle.nIt is difficult having a good look over the car initially when it is undercover though.nWill happily use again.

Very hurried and unfriendly at pick up.nDirty car (as usual with Avis), also had a slow leak in one of the tyres.nTried EVERY DAY for 6 days to ring them, but the phone is NEVER ANSWERED.nFixed the problem myself, but if my company ever wants to use them again I will refuse to go.nGive me Thrifty please.
