I was recommended a neg 5 degree Roman Palm Passport sleeping bag which didn't come close to warm in temps much higher than that. No exchange offered because it was used for 1 night and I may have been using it wrong. Fair enough but For $150 i would have expected it to work.

Great store with a really good range, from budget to top shelf brands. The prices on some things are better than eBay the rest are very close but with the advantage of having it that day. This is my new go to hiking and camping store for sure!

Recently purchased a yamaha 3000kva generator online for my up and coming travels around australia in a caravan with my wife and baby. After purchasing i discovered that the unit size was too large to store in the back of caravan. So i called up head office explaining my sistuation and what product i bought and the size i was after. I hadnt recieved the item yet but wanted to make sure if it was ok to return the item once i did recieve it. I was told that i could take the generator to my local store and they would be able to help me start the return process from there. So after i got off the phone to head office i called my local store just make sure and they also had no problem with it.nSo in trust i was able to return the item i bought the size down from the origional generator as soon as i could as stock is hard to find and we leave on our trip around oz in 2 weeks.nThe day after recieving the origional generator i took it to a local store for the return. To my suprise they told me i wasnt able to do so, so i called back to head office and spoke to a rather smug person on the phone who was to no help and all he said was its our online returns policy and pretended his computer froze so he could put me on hold while he discussed it with his manager.nAfter i explained to him i was advised not once but twice that i was going to be able to return it, all he could say was its our online policy then remained silent. Then says i was breaking up when ever i spoke after. So this is how tent world treats their customers who spend thousands of dollars with them. I am now $5700 into a generator and stuck with a unit usless to me. Money that would help my family and i live on the rd.nNot a happy customer and i will never shop at tent world again, nor will anyone i know.

Terrible customer service. Always had good experience with other stores but the staff at the tweed were awful! Disinterested and more focussed on their screen than attending to who buys their product. I wouldn't buy a tent peg from this mob.
