Absolute rubbish, drop off was fine car was clean etc and even dropped car to me. Two days into rental I get a call from an angry owner stating my charge did not go through as he processed the wrong amount so needed to redo. Upon checking my bank, he took one payment which was quoted at time of rental, then another charge slightly less and now threatening me with police because I refused to pay another amount of $200 for a 4 day rental - $ 600 mind you he authorised $500 on the first transaction for deposit and stayed hr wanted another deposit of $500!!!! $1600 total he wanted. I would NOT RECOMMEND THESE RIP OFFS. go with the larger companies where everything is done above board. (I'm still waiting my refund for 2x incorrect charges he claims was done) absolute rubbish of a place.

Was happy with car, service, process until I returned home and noticed an extra $250 taken off my credit card. I received no communication (Star claim they sent a text?) Explanation when followed up was because I drove through road works, the car was dirty and required cleaning and 'touch up' work. My advice is to pay a little extra on the daily rate and go with one of the big names in car rental and not be stung post holiday like this. The only reason I checked my credit card statement was for things like this... predictable rip off!
Fantastic fast last minute service to my door drop off, great rates and clean new cars. Will definitely use again.
Can’t rate them. We’ve rented a lot of cars and never had a cleaning charge EVER! Extra $130 cleaning charge! Be warned! They will throw the terms and conditions at you and blame you for not reading the small print! Apparently we were lucky for not being charged extra for external cleaning of bird poo! Wow!
