Car was freshly cleaned and reliable to the 6 days we had it. Counter staff were great and efficient. Need to wait in Car park. Bit short staffed and whilst they collect cars nobody to help or direct you.nI recommend to take travel insurance which also covers the excess on the vehicle rather than paying extra to Hertz.nOtherwise highly recommend Hertz as a car rental place.

Just rude and unhelpful. Other Hertz locations are great but not here. I use them regularly and always have a terrible experience relative to other branches. I rarely get a receipt emailed despite requesting every time, they have express lanes for members then they don’t and then leave you standing on the other side of the counter not even acknowledging you (leave a sign if you’ve changed), today I didn’t even get a hello or anything verbal except a stern “make sure you leave a receipt, it’s a diesel”, I asked why as I haven’t had to do that the last 30 hires...another quite stern “it’s our policy”. No good bye, no have a nice day. Again compared with other Hertz branches this one needs a serious overhaul. Just to add...fuel tank was only 5/6 full on a diesel.

Needed an emergency car after a horrendous experience with europcar. Everything that was an issue at europcar wasn’t at hertz. The older English gentleman working was super helpful and we drove away in a lovely Pajero after just 15 minutes. Would highly recommend these guys!

I returned car key on 2, Jun 11:20am in hertz airport next counter key box.nnI said good bye to staff and put in car key in front of office key box and staff was good bye to us and he saw us!nnI checked email with invoice extra charged and invoice shows we retuned car on 12:40pmnnI’m so surprise staff was told us to put car key in key box when we retune it. I cannot understand Hertz did this silly mistake.nnI suggest return key to staff directly if you don’t want get extra charge .nnI’m so disappoint about unprofessional company system and staffs.

Was served by the rudest most unhelpful little man you could ever meet. 0/10 for customer service.nnI was overcharged for a child seat, asked to sign off on no vehicle damage despite not yet seeing the vehicle (there was A LOT of damage) and the old guy passive aggressively went out of his way to drag out our interaction as he could see our child crying and our need to leave.nnSteer clear of this car company and the short monopoly man with bad Japanese chest tattoos that works in Cairns.
