Had an excellent quality Nissan X trail for 2 weeks. Needed 2 extensions on it and the manager gave me an extra few hours on it without charge because my flight was delayed until midday. Great price and good service.
Hired a small car for 12 days during a recent trip in Cairns/FNQ. No hassle at all with handover or car itself and the rate was the cheapest when compared to all other rental agencies. At pick up I was informed they only take credit cards however allowed my debit card to be used considering I simply don’t own a credit card. Polite customer service and easy handover/drop off.
Really positive experience after booking in a Mercedes for a few days. I checked in online and didn't have to provide 2 credit cards to pick up the car as some other Europcar rental places required. They had the car upgraded free of charge and it was ready and waiting when I went to pick up. I will recommend the Europcar Cairns office in the future for the ease of use and good service.
Useless. Booked hire car and unfortunately I was late to the desk when I arrived to be told my car had been given to somebody else!! Could not get another vehicle. Left stranded on opposite side of country and ruined the start of my holiday, extremely stressful experience do not recommend
I was misled into paying for rental excess reduction. Total scam where rental companies charge $5K excess (in case of an accident) and try to convince you to buy the additional protection to lower it. I called the next day to cancel it but Europcar refused.
