No complaints on the car & the service, esp the lovely bloke who was there when we returned it. Such good energy!nnCar was almost brand new and served us well.

We can't pick up our car before the close of business hours due to flight changes. Instead of being able to pick it up the following day they cancelled our booking leaving us carless. Highly recommend avoiding using them considering the current uncertainties with covid shut downs.

We were told on three separate occasions by three different staff that we would not need to pay anything upfront only when the car is returned. We arrive in Cairns and are told no you have to pay $750 up front $550 for the car and a $200 holding fee. They refused to help and went entirely against everything we'd been told. Poor service, weak attempt at customer service and would even try to rectify the issue.nBook with literally anyone else.

Stay away!!! My husband is diabetic and left a consumable in the car, they charged me $250 on the spot for ' hiring a cleaning company to remove it'. No danger whatsoever for prickling yourself!nThey are pathetic.

I wish I had read the previous reviews prior to booking. I was charged over $500 on my credit card for a cracked windscreen that was pre-existing damage (it was even visible in the photos provided at the time of booking). It's been more than two weeks and I am still trying to get my money back. The Cairns Airport branch manager has not returned calls. They also double charged me for the rental which was thankfully sorted out (and refunded) by the head office.nNote: The charge for the windscreen was finally refunded by the Budget head office three weeks later
