Would not recommend at all. Pre paid my car booking in full and also filled the tank just before returning. No issues when handing back the keys. A few days later charged extra >$180 to my credit card. No warning! Wouldn’t have realised unless checking my card statement. On calling customer service advised that there are more fees to pay (for what it still isn’t clear) plus a fuel charge!! Have sent them my credit card statements to get this sorted out but absolutely ridiculous that they can sneakily just charge your credit card without warning later. Should have paid more attention to the poor reviews. Will not book with them in the future.
Budget is consistently good and hassle free. However latest visit had people sent to Avis where there was a fairly long line up (about 30 mins). Considering they take reservations and know when people expect to turn up, not sure why they'd only have 3 staff to service about 30 waiting customers). Once through the line pick up and return were hassle free.
Absolutely terrible, Make sure your ceo flys to brisbane and holds your hand if you need a car for work!nnWork booked and paid for a hire car and they wont accept it unless the cardholder is there in person, we hire ALOT of cars through work and has never been an issue with other companies.
At the start it was good. Paid for my deposit and car hire for the 5 days I was in Queensland. Then got overcharged 2x for a small car hire. And budget customer service were being difficult on refunding me the overcharged cost. Wouldn’t recommend them at all.
Sadly these companies are still in 1983 please get tap and pay
