We had a great experience with king up until delivery. The delivery men were extremely rude and went off at us when we asked them to move the lounge suit. We lodged a complaint with king and it was attended to in a few hours. We received a full refund on the delivery. We were very impressed with how king and the delivery company handled the complaint. Thank you

Not sure what is happening with this store but visited today, salesman attentive & knowledgeable but thought I'd check reviews, so glad we did. Won't chance buying anything from here as after sales service seems abominable.

The customer service prior to purchase is great. However, once an order has been made, there is next to no customer service. I had emailed requesting a time frame for the delivery of our furniture and never received a response as we were already informed of a delay. I followed up with a phone call and they still couldn’t confirm that the time of delivery given will actually be accurate. Four months after ordering our furniture, we had it delivered to our house. The delivery guy was excellent. However, some joiners for the couch were missing and we were told that he bring it the next day. I called King Living the next day afternoon to follow up as we had not received the joiners. The response from the sales person was for me to come pick it up from the store. When we spend a large amount of money at a store, we expect much better customer service. TERRIBLE customer service and I will not be recommending King Living.

Lets talk about the 'King Difference' it's different alright!nWe have purchased 4 items from King Living Brisbane in recent times and with the exception of exceptional service from Claire, most other communication and customer service has been poor and at times rude to the point of lying to endeavour to make their point. Maybe they should acquaint themselves with their own marketing material because zero integrity is exhibited.nTheir delivery team are fabulous though as are the centralised phone team.nWe have had smallish issues with very item we have purchased; wrong colour rug, new rug unravelling, dirt and crumbs in a brand new Seymour chair which seemed strange, an outdoor lounge which took 6 months to arrive instead of 3 and no one bothering to advise us that another item had arrived until I enquired 4 weeks later.nHowever those are overshadowed but what seems to be a culture of customer contempt from the staff at the Brisbane store, especially over the phone. Of them all, Daryl has the most trouble concealing her disregard and disdain for you. Their insulting and condescending attitude is no incentive to shop there again.nRegardless of how many times Neale Whitaker espouses the virtues and values of King, we won't be rushing back for the dining table and coffee table that we thought we wanted. Because apart from the terrible service we have experienced we have also been disappointed to discover that the price does not reflect the commitment to quality that old mate Neale bangs on about.

Extremely poor customer service experience.nnWe understood that there would be delays due to Covid when purchasing however were provided with no updated timeframe as to when we would receive the lounge. My emails went unanswered and it was up to us to chase up the sales team to see what date we needed to be home to receive the delivery.nnAfter being told a delivery timeframe of 1pm to 5pm and making arrangements at work, I received a call at 9am saying the lounge would be there in 40 minutes. I advised the delivery team that it should be arriving later in the day and was told it had to come that morning.nnWhile the product is good, I am extremely disappointed by the service post-sale and would not recommend anyone to King Living.
