When we arrived it looked busy as and I thought we were going to have to wait at least 30mins before we would be seen. However, we were seen within 1 minute & had our 3 kids feet scanned within 5, shoes on in 10mins & out the door in 15mins.nWe also mentioned the kids schools and they were right onto it.nnThis process usually takes 30mins at least at other shoe stores. Friendly staff, Good shoe options.

On the 21st of September 2019, I attended your Maroochydore, Sunshine Plaza store to purchase a new pair of running shoes. At the time I was wearing my work shoes (Ascent) that had been purchased at the same store less than 4 months prior. After already purchasing my new running shoes, I casually asked staff about the deterioration of the padding inside the Ascent shoe that I was wearing. I was immediately told of the warranty policy for the Ascent shoes and assured by 2 staff members on that day that my shoes would most certainly be covered under the warranty. It is important to note that I was unaware of a warranty policy for these shoes prior to this day. As I was assured they would be replaced, I agreed to have my shoes sent away for assessment which I was told would be a week maximum turn around. I have now been without my work shoes for almost 3 weeks. I wear these shoes in accordance with my company's uniform policy and have been in breach of this since sending my shoes away because I was assured it would only take a few days. I have purchased these same shoes for the purpose of work for the past 3 years from your company and my partner also shops with your company. I was advised this week that my shoes were not accepted under the warranty policy meaning that I have basically been without my shoes for 3 weeks for nothing. I have been accused of sliding my foot inside the shoe without undoing the laces and told I must be wearing the wrong socks which is the cause of the deterioration. Keep in mind that I have bought these same shoes for the past 3 years (3 pairs) and this issue has never occurred before. Regardless, the fact is that the shoe has not lasted 4 months and these shoes are not cheap. To be accused of misusing the shoe is insulting and a poor example of customer service. Myself and partner both work in retail, in fact I manage my own store and have never experienced poor service nor have I ever treated a customer in this manner. I have called Ascent direct and they have stated that the warranty is the discretion of the store, however, your store advised me that Ascent made the final decision. I have been offered for my shoe to be 're-patched' or 'repaired' today which does not in any way make up for the inconvenience I have experienced. This just increases the length of time without my work shoes, which will obviously need replacement soon as they are obviously a poorly manufactured batch. I have had to call the store on every single occasion to follow up, not once has there been any proactive follow up from the staff at the Maroochydore store. This whole process has been a complete waste of my time and was only initiated because of the advise of your staff members. I used to be an advocate for your company, recommending your product and the Ascent shoe to all of my staff members. Following this incident and poor handling of the situation I will be taking my future business elsewhere.
