First time renter here. Had so many questions, called so many times that I probably spoke to everyone that worked there. The staff were friendly and knew what they were talking about. Vanita(?) On the check-in was loquacious and kind then when I hit a snag (lost the fuel cap keys) Rhonda made the incident reporting process and finalization a breeze - making things go right, even if they went a little wrong! Thanks Budget!
Went out of their way to get me a car in an emergency
Very scummy company. Was given a truck with 4 NOT road worthy tyres and when one went flat was expected to replace and pay the full amount even though we took out extra damage cover. Was told the $40 a day cover did not cover flat tyres. Complete rip off and disgusting attitude towards the problem. Very unsafe company to be given a truck with 4 NOT road worthy tyres!
We hired a car for 30 hours, upon arrival we selected extra insurance cover for $50.nNext week when the money was withdrawn from my account that 50$ was charged twice because I hired the car for 24plus hours. No email sent to confirm transaction, poor telephone service and sneaky way to charge extra fees. I will not be using this company in the future
