A massive thank you to Karen at Hertz Car Rental Alice Springs Downtown. Unfortunately, we had an accident in our own vehicle as we were moving from Darwin to Melbourne and our car had to be left in Alice Springs. Karen went above and beyond to help us get an appropriate car sorted. Karen was so kind to us and her customer service was exceptional. In a difficult situation, Karen looked after us. The huge THANK YOU to Karen at Alice Springs Hertz Car Rental. WOW .. she was amazing . Firstly I called a few days prior to collecting the car to ask if I could collect it 24 hours earlier .. it was arranged effortlessly within minutes. Karen was friendly, enthusiastic and very professional. That meant we had an extra day of sightseeing in the wonderful McDonnell ranges . When we arrived Karen greeted us with a smile and had the car ready to go . She explained our contract very carefully and then advised some great tourist things to do and see. She showed us the car and all we needed to know about it . The car exceeded our expectations and we dove off a very happy family !! Thanks again Karen and Hertz car rentals

Dropping off our car was quick and easy. It's car repair shop with an office that will accept your car. The only note I would make is that while the site is physically close to the train station, it's facing a different road that would take a little bit of walking by industrial buildings to get there. Instead, the gentleman who took our keys showed us through the shop, into the back, and we walked a small concrete walkway in the drainage ditch to get up to the train station. We didn't mind, but some might.nnAnyway - all of that was unnecessary because the train station in Alice Spings also has a key drop off (see photo).

Arrived in Alice with our motor home. hertz had a car available straight away and even came and pucked us up from the caravan park.Taj was awesome. thank you
