Redspot Car Rentals

Hiring from this company was the most horrible experience of my life! When I arrived to collect the car my 3 year son was put in the car first locked in his car seat in the back. Without touching the keys (which the staff placed on the passenger seat with my paperwork) the car automatically locked after my sons door shut. ALL doors including the boot!!!!! I called the service desk to get the spare key to help him out but they ' did not have one'. My son by now was in extreme distress as was I. People nearby and the service staff 'Patrick' had to come to my aid and had to smash the window to get my son out. The staff advised me on the day they would be taking my $200 deposit to cover ALL damages and they were so sorry this had happened. I really should not have had to pay anything as it was by no means my fault but under my distressed state I agreed. The money was instantly taken out of my account. I now 3 months later have debt collectors chasing me for money to pay for the window???? What a joke!! I cannot believe this. I am so very disappointed with how this has been handled. I was told on the day that the manager was sorry but he had to take some money for their car that locked my son in!!! I already paid for the window which I should not have had to in the first place. Will never be using this company again. Would not recommend to anyone.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANYnnThis company is the worst I have ever used. Poor attitude, never checked the car on return and then faked damaged and charged an obscene amount. Hopefully you read this before making a booking. Trust me go elsewhere!!!

THE worst hire car company on the planet! Avoid at all costs! Not only will the employees blatantly lie to your face, they have absolutely no regard for loyalty! You might think you’re saving a few dollars with them but they will make you pay for it in other ways. Never again!
