Amazing customer service! We visited Thrifty in Yulara and Kristy on the front desk was very helpful and had fantastic knowledge of the local area and it’s surrounds. We had booked a car for the day and were able to collect it the afternoon before once the previous customer had it returned it. This allowed us to make the most of our time! Thank you so much Kristy! Got the car I wanted,. Auto etc . Thought the colour was a bit bright for me BUT probably one of the safest colours cos it stands out red dirt grey roads . Actually felt safe driving it

We booked via RACQ. Staff were really helpful and answered many questions.nnReally happy we booked a car and caught the bus to and from the airport.nnWe picked up and dropped off the car in Yulara and it was parked near IGA. Car was clean and in good condition.nnHot tip... If you're wanting to drive super late or super early (during dark hours) and far distances, ask what the coverage for insurance is. If you're looking to drive far to say Kings Canyon, you may want to consider things like driving through properties, cattle, heat of the day etc...nnWe did just shy of 280km over three days. We only booked for 200kms. We watched sunrises/sunsets, did the Uluru base walk and Kata Tjuta (Valley of the Winds). Most of our tours had travel included but we were super pleased we drove ourselves for all of the walking and dawn/dusk viewing.nnWe went through what are were doing with thrifty staff and excellent information was given to make informed decisions.nnWe only did the national park close by while we were there.nnKeep your booking form as a reference for the price you booked it for just in case.nnHappy driving.

Wonderful friendly service and a fantastic near-new car - highly recommended!!! Pick up was easy and the manager was extremely friendly and ran through everything. Car was excellent and perfect for the Red Centre's brilliantly maintained roads. A much better option that doing tours in Uluru - so much more freedom! Highly highly recommended!

Easy in and out. No dramas. Car was clean and in good condition. No one manning the desk on my return but a dropbox for the keys was provided.
