The best and most friendliest place I have ever come across. Feel so welcome and they treat you like a family. Great management with vibrant attitude. Well priced and well maintained cars. Nothing is too hard even I had some unusual requests. Amazing service with well mannered personality that very rare to find in these days. No wonder there is a long line but all the customers waiting are well informed and quickest service with a happy attitude even under lots of pressure. You guys deserve it and I will recommend to all my family and friends. Well done and keep up the great job. I will definitely come back even to say hello.

Our car broke down in sutton forest, heading to wollongong. Booked a car through a third party website that had a deal with thrifty. Thrifty didnt actually have the car, that i had paid for and booked. They were adament that I should cancel the booking, even though the third party website would charge 300 dollars to cancel. Thrifty wouldnt cancel, even though they didnt have the car. They have given us an alternative smaller car, but we are now stuck in Wollongong with 3 children as Thrifty wont let us drive the car back to Canberra.

They looked after me, were quick, freindly staff, and fully explained th car. Very happy with them.

What a team at Thrifty Wollongong, Hiring a car can be a stressful experience at best. Not at Thrifty Wollongong from the great attitude from the booking staff, the manager and the great staff in the wash and return area. Don't make a mistake and book anywhere else. Go to Thrifty first and only.

Got the vehicle back to them only to be charged an extra $347 for mileage allowance. This was more than the actual booking cost and I wasn't made aware of the cost until after. Make sure you know what you're gonna get charged. Response to owner's response. It won't let me delete the post. Only edit it. And you really haven't done enough to warrant me giving a good review. I'll simply add that after making a formal complaint I was able to get most of the money back, but owner still insisted on keeping $70. Your claim that you go through all the details is both false and irrelevant as I discussed with you, by the time I arrived to hire the vehicle, a number of factors meant I was already commited to moving house and wouldn't have been in a position to reject your terms. Your website should have advised of this significant extra cost when I made the booking. I'll give you one more star for giving me most of my money back, but that's pretty generous really. I shouldn't have to ask for my own money.
