Went to grab hire a car. Zero communication about the airport not being open on time, or the trouble we might having getting in. When I said this I was met with attitude. Apparently the staff are overly sensitive to suggestions. They’re website says they’re open from 8am. Rather than apologise they continued to act rude and didn’t like being called out on it. We were finally refused the car after this. Much to the manager’s delight. I’m amazed that in this climate they would turn down any business. In the end it looked like they were far more inconvenienced than us, as we went to hertz, got a far better deal, it took all of 5 minutes to sort out and the lady we dealt with was an absolute super star. I guess you can’t expect much for two very rough looking women, who have all the manners of a seagull at a dinner table.

Found a special with Jetstar to the Gold Coast . We were the only flight in for the day arriving around 6pm took nearly 40 mins to get through border controls being compulsory. Arrived at the Euro car hire desk to pick up our hire car which was booked through Jetstar and were charged an extra $75 late fee. What a ripoff be aware as this was not communicated to me at the time of booking. The lady serving us was very embarrassed as she said she has been verbally abused every time she has had to Charge clients this extra charge. Will never use Euro car hire again . We travel extensively every year. Shame on you Euro cars.

Charged after hours fee at 9:45am on a Sunday . Attended said it’s automatic and I can’t reverse . You have to call to dispute . Why could I book that time if closed. Because they decided to close last minute without advising renter in advance

Never have I spent so long in a queue while staring at every other car hire company having empty queues. And even with a massive queue, one of the people serving obviously finished their shift and just left. I reckon I could have built a computer and 3D printer, and then printed my own car in the time I stood here.

Utterly hopeless. Hour and a half and we’re still waiting in the queue. Literally takes them half an hour per customer. A blind dog could do this faster
