Easy online booking prior to arrival. Pick up and return was an easy affair. Clean car, looks pretty new. Child seats a bit old.
Called, booked and paid for a car and insurance. Went in a they had no record. Showed the email confirmation, proof of payment and that wasn't good enough. Called up again and they had no idea what I was talking about, even when I forwarded them the email they sent me while I was on the phone to them. No car, no refund, I just paid some clowns to clown around. I'm out over $400 for nothing. Don't confirmation emails and payments mean anything anymore?
Now some douche would probably reply to this post with some generic response asking "for more information to assist me further".
Train your call centre staff. One of them said that they do cars for rideshare hire, and another said they don't. They don't even know what they sell.
Had a deal on their website that was very misleading, making me think I would get a much better upgrade than I did. Had an issue getting any upgrade at all, as the clerk at the counter had to be prompted to notice I had entered an upgrade code at the point of sale. The car was good, but I feel that if you are looking to save money, look elsewhere!
Our experience wasnt really great due to booking was through points with Etihad airlines and Avis could not get hold of their money for a very complicated reason but Pat helped us out and made sure we left happy customers. Thanks Pat!
