Furniture 'N' More Super Warehouse

Well that was a dreadful experience! My son purchased a mattress from furniture ‘n more. He made the decision to shop there rather than one of the larger retail outlets to support a local business. When he got it home, on inspection we discovered that the plastic cover had been torn down the entire corner and the mattress badly torn and dirty. We had not even taken it out of his van. I phoned the store and spoke to someone called Michael. He told me I had to email ‘Frank’? with any complaints. I replied no I was merely informing him that we would be returning the damaged goods the following day for a replacement, and I was not interested in emailing Frank. He immediately went in to defense saying that the mattress was perfectly alright when it left the store and we would not be able to return it. He did not even serve my son it was a female called Amanda? He then went on to say that we should have had it delivered. I asked him “why would we pay for delivery when we had a large van?” He started to tell me a story about one woman bought something......I told him I was not interested I explained again that we would be returning it the following day. He just answered rudely that we would have to deal with Amanda. We returned the mattress the following day, Amanda stood and watched as we brought the mattress in, making no attempt to greet us or ask if we needed assistance. I told her we had come for a replacement. She just kept repeating that the mattress was fine and we must have damaged it. Another lady told us just to take another off the pile. We thanked her. We said we would check that it was in good order and she responded “of course”. Amanda just shouted “you don’t need to we don’t sell damaged goods”. The new mattress was double packed in plastic unlike the original damaged one. As we left the shop Amanda carried on shouting that my son had damaged the other mattress. Unbelievable! I notice that on the back of the docket in specifically states that all goods should be inspected and signed for by the customer stating that they are in good order. Amanda offered neither of these options to my son. My advice, don’t shop there. If you do, insist that you check the goods first because they will quite happily try and sell you damaged goods.

Was not impressed Owner barged in on conversation ,put every other store down. Was a very unpleasant to deal with I found the furniture very hard and dated ,I feel sorry for his staff. Do your self a favour and don't go there . The best thing about this place is the door on the way out

The burleigh store does not want to know you the second you walk out the door. Stay away from their "most popular" memory foam mattress. I had to buy a second mattress from snooze... I should have just gone there in the first place.

If you are a cashed up millennial then don't bother visiting this store. The designs are extremely dated as they more suited to a less discerning and much older market. Styling is stuck in the 90s and its a carbon copy of Harvey Norman - "ugly and boring". Service was average too. I understand that they are one of the largest suppliers in the G, but its basically quantity than quality. Best to source great design and bespoke pieces from Brisbane.

The service was amazing!! The man there was great with helping assist us with our custom blush pink salon sofa straight from the start to the end. I really recommend this place! You can have the sofa of your dreams made! So happy and clients love it !
