I'm a local and sometimes need a rental so look for old school service with today's motor vehicles. Geoff provides the best service that's clean, efficient, and hassle free. Highly recommended.
Went to tourist centre to get maps ideas and rent a car. They referred us to one of the big ones that was a 3+km walk. Most are at the airport but as we had arrived by train they were not convenient. Well, while we headed off my wife decided to do a little search and came up with “Racey rentals”. OK I thought this should be fun. We only wanted a small car to potter around the tourist spots of Kalgoorlie so opted for. Kia Serato. Geoff was very helpful and friendly. Delivered the car to our hotel and we completed the paperwork. The car was clean, neat and tidy. The price very reasonable. In addition when we leave we just dropped the keys off at the hotel reception and Geoff would collect it. Now that is service.
I have just had a really good experience through renting a vehicle from Racey Rentals in Kalgoorlie. The location from which the business operated was just great being in the heart of the city - not out at the airport - and the owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating.
