Poor management and one rude staff member at the Broome depot started our trip off on the wrong foot and things only got worse from there. Having our bullbar fall off one side of the vehicle after previous damage to the vehicle hadn't been repaired. To having to share a Sat phone after paying for one each to half filled gas bottles and dirty dishes. Tent poles missing bolts to spare parts for the trailer missing. Dual batteries not being charged before we left so we couldn't put hundreds of dollars worth of meat and cold food we had bought for a month trip in. Diesel filter failure with in the first day. Trailer safely pin somehow went missing and led to the camper trailer falling off while traveling. A/C filters clogged full of dust. Air compressor failed after its first use. When we asked for help with a few of the problems we had early in the trip and were able to travel back to broome using up our holiday time were met with excuses and little consideration for our concerns. For the money we spent we did not get what we paid for!
Very nice & courteous staff in Darwin & Broome. The Toyota Land Cruiser had only 10,000 km. Was a great 4WD. The tires were new. The off-road camper trailer was of the best quality. 12 V & USB connections available. With a little practice, the tent can be set up in 5 - 10 minutes. It has lots of storage space. Only the frying pan was cambered and therefore unusable.
