Ikea Collection Point Cairns

The staff at toll are helpful and friendly. IKEA on the other hand didn’t tell me once that my things have arrived and only provide days and hours during the week to collect it which is impossible for someone who works and doesn’t live in cairns terrible service from IKEA not to mention the two month wait for the items.

Received 5 sms text advising delivery will be at certain day between 10 am and 13.00 pm. After waiting for three hours rang IKEA to be told deliveries in our city are only to collection point and that it will be available in two to three days from now. I will not buy from them again. I warn otgers stay ckeae. Buy elsewhere. Now waiting further till its delivered.

Fine. No problems. But never got the promised sms when items were ready for collection

The address is given as 74 Lyons St. But to access the Ikea Collection Point you have to go to the end of Morrison St. Go into NQX reception and provide your order number. You are then told to go down to the freight collection area. There's a faded sign and some old pallets and debris. I thought I was in the wrong spot so drove through the gate. A forklift driver told me to go back to the spot I'm parked in in the photos. Good Luck.

Not signposted as IKEA at all so hard to find initially. It's actually Followmont Transport and IKEA sends it there for collection. Followmont guys are great but need to be aware general public don't know that is not IKEA and will be looking for IKEA signs.
