DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY OR EDGE LIVING! I don’t even know where to begin. Walking into Ashley Furniture, we had absolutely no acknowledgement nor any help. We chose NORTON 6 piece 3 electric corner modular. Tried to find a staff member and found 4 of them at the register having a good old chat. We put our order in regardless. 8 weeks later our modular unit came but 4 seats were badly sinking in as we sat down. The seats were giving us backache and next day we called the store, it took them good 2-3 weeks to send someone to look at it. John from Edge Living (as these 2 stores owned by the same people) examined the seats and he was reluctant to write off all 4 and I hardly convinced him about the 3rd one, which was upsetting. Another 2 weeks passed with us chasing for an update. Finally, John called my husband and explained that they had another order in store that they don’t need to deliver until November so they could swapped the 3 seats with that. We were ok to do that. When the pieces arrived strangely they were not in their boxes, they were already assembled and had crumbs on them. The delivery men was trying to rush and as soon as the swap finished they left. And I had a good look the colour of the “new” 3 seats, which were faded compare to the ones we have. I called my husband and told him that we were possibly given the display modular and that they lied to us about having a new order in store.He went over straight away, checked and confirmed that they have put our pieces on display. This disgusted us as we weren’t treated nicely although we have been patient with them. We called John again and told him what we realised, he first denied but then said he would get the story Manager Troy to contact us. We were all tired of the hassle and badly managed situation and we just wanted some refund as rightly we were not given a new product. Another 2 or so weeks passed and we received no calls. My husband called Troy the manager directly and he was very rude and unprofessional in the way he talked to my husband. He claimed that the seats they took from us were stained, Which is again a big lie as we made sure the seats weren’t stained and they were absolutely not stained. If they were why would they put them as display. Troy with a rude manner advised my husband they wouldn’t give us any refund at all. We are in real shock and we regret that we chose to support a local neighbour business. We believe if we went to Amart we would have gotten much better deal and customer service. Please listen to all the negative reviews, if you do not want to be left disappointed and upset! We are in the process of looking for other possible steps we can take.

Pretty good. Picked up some stuff we liked, and found more that was not only tasteful, but reasonably priced.

Excellent variety of furniture. Amazing great prices. Staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I will shop there in the future.

Beautiful furniture. Not a huge variety in designs though. Lovely displays. Really grateful that I wasn't hassled by staff.
