Fair enough I thought, people probably steal, they’re looking after their stuff. Then at the counter her husband completed the transaction with my card. Except the card reader ran out of paper to print my receipt. She came up to check it for him and again, her suspicious nature got the better of her. She began questioning him if the transaction had gone through. Which of course it had. It was a hot Saturday morning. Should I have dressed in my classy work clothes perhaps?nnDon’t mind people protecting their stuff but the open display of rudeness was next level.
