The Shoe Garden

Bought a pair of shoes for my Mum, who struggles to find comfortable fashionable shoes in her size. They fit her perfectly she is thrilled! I could not speak highly enough of the incredible service. While travelling up on the north Queensland coast I saw a pair of shoes I loved that were not in my size. I searched the brand (Rilassare) in Brisbane area, and lo and behold, the only store that came up (The Shoe Garden!!) was 20 minutes walk from where I was staying! AND! They catered specifically to larger feet, like mine! I could not believe my luck. From there it just got better. They had the brand I was looking for in various styles and colours. I bought two pairs and returned two days later with my sister, and bought two more pairs of shoes (different brands). Since this awesome discovery, I have bought (shhh) nine pairs of shoes/boots. Nine. And I don't know if I'm quite done yet.nThere's no reason to go anywhere else now, really. Carol and her staff/helpers are knowledgeable, friendly and offer great customer service. I know there's a very slick online purchasing option, though i've never had to use it as she's so close by for me, but I know others who have used this service and are equally impressed with the service and the products.nThe shoes and boots I've purchased are all fun and fantastic and wear really well. Any guilt over purchases is easily brushed aside knowing that I am contributing to Carol's quest to help women in Africa start their own business through the MicroLoan Foundation Australia donations (a percentage from every sale). I am excited every time I put on any of these shoes or boots I've bought and nearly always get comments on them. Still can't believe my luck with this rather random and serendipitous discovery.
