Brisbane Kitchen Design

After doing some research and talking to a few kitchen designers, we engaged Matthew from BKD to help solve our problem.nWe're so glad we did and had a great experience with Matthew. He used his years of experience to reshape and help us better utilise our kitchen space. He transformed our kitchen from awkward and pokey with little storage space into an awesome, functional kitchen with surprisingly MORE storage space that's a pleasure to be in and look at.nNot only was his service great but the relationships he has with tradespeople is the best I've seen, ensuring a seamless process. We must have been quite difficult to work with - leaving for holidays, locked out of QLD and then quarantining at home during the process. But he moved things around to ensure everything ran on time and within budget. Matthew's communication was excellent and he was on site, making sure all aspects of his design were executed perfectly.nMy wife and I think back through our experience and cannot find fault, we highly recommend.

I have never done a renovation before this. I was concerned that I would not get what I paid for. WOW what a very pleasant surprise. Brilliant result, fantastic tradies, super communication and management of my project. In fact I enjoyed it from the time Mathew walked in the door. Could not recommend highly enough.

In July 2020 we utilised Brisbane Kitchen Design for our renovation at The Gap. Matt took the time to listen to our requests and put together an excellent design that maximised our space, storage and flow. Three weeks later our kitchen was ready for installation. The trades that support BKD were outstanding, particularly the electricians who could not have more accommodating and the cabinet manufacturers / installers who took an enormous amount of pride in their product and installation.nnThe finished product was a 2 Tone Kitchen with 2 Pac Flat Panel doors with 40mm Ambassador Stone Pearl Benchtops and Polytec’s Black Wenge Ravine Finish.nnIt's rare you finish a project of this type and don't reflect back on something you would have done differently but we can honestly say we are delighted with our kitchen and would not change a thing.nnWhen we started this project we engaged six different companies to quote on the kitchen. We spoke with several very large kitchen manufacturers and a number of smaller kitchen project design / managers. Brisbane Kitchen Designs were significantly cheaper than all the other quotes except one, who were similarly priced. While BKD we on the lower end of the price range there was certainly no compromise on quality. My advice from this process, don't waste your money paying for showrooms and staff!

Matthew did a great job of our kitchen which was the first stage of the renovation of an apartment in a 22 year old building and there were many challenges to deal with. Not in the least there were access issues, as well as the fact the kitchen had not been renovated in that time. While I provided the design. Matthew and his team interpreted it well, solving the problems and the result is very pleasing, both in function as well as appearance. His service is excellent too and we have remained friends after the project was finished. A good guy

Mathew and his team delivered a kitchen upgrade including stone bench top and splash backs for us. The experience was professional timely and on budget we could not be more impressed and would highly recommend Brisbane Kitchen Design to anyone.
