I purchased a monitor from them without realizing that other electronic stores in the area had more competitive prices which is my own fault for not doing better research. But they have a VERY stringent refund policy along with a minimum 15% restocking fee for non-defective product returns. Not to mention you pay for return shipping as you can't go in person. Had I known better, I would have just went to Canada Computers, Newegg or many of the other electronic stores around!

Bought their product online and it was out of stock due to the pandemic. Was promptly emailed offering me a free upgrade for the trouble. Their customer service was very generous, kind and they are fast to answer!

I made my order on Saturday and paid extra shipping fees so that way I could get it ship Monday it’s already Thursday and my order has not been ship I tried calling then to see that’s going on I have not gotten a response from them. I also emailed them on Tuesday and haven’t received a response from them

I just completed my first order with V&L and wanted to share my experience. I placed my order for some clearance cablemod c-series cables on Monday morning. That same evening, I received an email from V&L that the last inventory item for that clearance item was missing. Normally I would expect most companies to simply cancel the order and make a refund (especially considering it would be a same-day refund so I'm not really missing out from lost opportunities elsewhere because of me expecting a fulfillment of this order ... and also considering this was a clearance item so there's not much that can be done for getting more in stock). However, in this case, in addition to offering a refund, they also gave me the option of instead taking a free upgrade to the cablemod pro series (which wasn't on clearance so they're in no rush to get rid of this inventory). Retail difference was around 100 for the clearance item vs 130 for the pro series. Obviously I opted for the free upgrade. FOUR minutes (I am using email timestamps for this) after I informed them of my choice, I get an email from their internal system that the package is on the way (40 minutes later an email directly from UPS confirming the same). Next day Tuesday at noon (and this is with free shipping btw) ... my cables arrive. I do a lot of shopping online. However, it is predominantly with Amazon. That's because of their shipping times and the great customer service experience I've had (with returns for example). I can confidently say I feel the same level of comfort with V&L based on my first experience placing and receiving an order from them. Despite it being a clearance item, and something not too expensive considering many of the other possible purchases one could make on their site, the customer service I received was top tier. tldr Very professional and down-to-earth staff. Inspires confidence for when things go wrong. I'm recommending them to my friends and fam (well ... considering the techie-ness of the rest of my family ... lets say just friends).
