The rude customer service lady at the Langley (Willoughby) location ruined my morning!!!! This morning, I went in to buy a box of chocolates, which was on sale for $6.99. I went to self-check and it rang up as $7.99. I asked a very nice lady at self-check and she said the sale was over but they forgot to take the sign down, so she would adjust to price for me. So I asked if London Drugs partake in the scanning code of practice and if so would I be able to get it for free. The nice lady said if I wanted it for free I would have to go to customer service counter. So I did. I brought the item over and explain the pricing issue and she also said she would adjust the price, so I asked if I could get it for free again. She goes, "NOOO, that's not how the scanning code of practice works. Had you already paid for the item and realized the price was wrong on the receipt and brought it back, then you could get a refund." So then I said, "Can I pay for it now then?" At this point, this lady probably thought I am a cheap person and, in a LOUD AND HORRIBLY RUDE tone, said "NO! You get the adjusted price. You can't pay for it now knowing the price is wrong and expect a refund. I've worked here for 20 years and that's not how scanning code of conduct works!" So I said, "I don't appreciate your tone, may I speak to the manager please?" She paged the manager. We waited for about a minute, the manager didn't show up. And then she said into her walkie talk, "Cancel manager, I'll just give it to her for free." So she gave it to me for free and said, "Here, have a Merry Christmas" in a sarcastic tone. So I said I would still like to speak to the manager, so she paged again. The manager came and I explained what happened nicely and clearly, expecting some kind of apology from her for her employee or at least an explanation on why she couldn't have given it to me for free to begin with. Guess what the manager said? She said, "Well, now you have it for free." I was FURIOUS!!!!! I said I am going to leave a bad review and the nasty customer service lady said, "Go ahead!". Is this how London Drugs and its management team train their staff and treat their customers? Is it the fault of the customer to realize advertising error a minute early, just prior to purchasing the product? What difference does it make? The nasty lady could have told me London Drug doesn't partake in the scanning code of practice and I would have just paid for it. But no............ she just didn't want to give it to me for free at first. WHY? Because of my appearance? I don't care about the $8, it's the principle. I would gladly go back to the store and pay for it if I could get an apology from them! I have their names if anyone is interested in knowing who they are! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I placed an online order over 3 weeks ago and they seem to have misplaced it. I have called every week requesting information on my package and not once have I got a call back like I was promised. This is the worst customer service I have ever received and I have never been so upset with an online order. I would recommend NEVER dealing with London Drugs because you will just get played around. Give me a refund you crooks. WORST SERVICE EVER

I never had to wait so flippin long from something within Canada. I might as well buy from China; quicker, uses Canada Post, and much better in house customer service. Edit: called, I wasn't treated any better and I will question buying in Canada 50,000 times before buying again
