FRAUD - Do not buy from Element Acoustics or Rutherford Audio! Do not buy from Element Acoustics – Edward Ku can fool you and withheld information about the true condition of the selling audio gear! As he already did - provided false information and sold me used and modified in Europe Burmester amplifier as new/demo unit for American market! Do not buy any product imported by Rutherford Audio – Robb Neimann can recommend you a dealer and then void the warranty on the product bought from that dealer! As he already did - first recommended me the Element Acoustics and then voided the warranty on Burmester sold by Element Acoustics and imported by Rutherford Audio! Do not buy Burmester products – factory does not respect and support their customers! Buy American or Canadian - these manufacturers behave much more nobly and take care of their customers! In August 2018 I asked Robb Neimann from Rutherford Audio (US/Canadian distributor of Burmester) to find me ex-demo Burmester amplifier. He recommended me Edward Ku from Element Acoustics who had that amp on demo rack. Next day I got a message from Edward Ku: “I can offer you our demo (MINT and near NEW)... This will come with our official invoice and full Burmester warranty…in MINT condition and it has been sitting in our showroom with very minimum use. Less than 50 hours”. I got invoice from Element Acoustics with description: “Burmester 956 mk2 (demo) *comes with full 5 year Burmester warranty.” 1. When I was going to sell this amplifier 1.5 year later, my buyer figured out that this unit was initially sold to Sweden as European 230V model, then it was modified to 115V and sold to USA. Edward Ku and Robb Neimann withheld this information! 2. Rutherford Audio voided the warranty on this unit, since it was European model, despite it was recommended by Rutherford Audio and imported to USA by Rutherford Audio!!! Still has Rutherford label on a box, as an importer to USA and matching serial number! 3. Distributor in Sweden confirmed that unit was initially sold to Sweden from Burmester factory. Burmester factory confirmed that unit was released as 230V European model and initially sold to Sweden. 4. I’ve sent a letter to Burmester factory describing this fraud sale by Canadian dealer and American distributor, however Burmester factory did not support me and referred me back to American distributor! I can provide invoice/warranty and all correspondence from Element Acoustics, Rutherford Audio, Burmester Audiosysteme and HiFiconsult AB (Sweden).
