PIER 7 Restaurant + Bar

The only problem I had was being told "no" without any options when inquiring about a table with a view multiple times for a special occasion. I wish the hostess showed a bit more understanding and care. I understand the first come, first serve rule but there is always alternatives to offer. Issue aside, Food was great. Presentation was great. Atmosphere was great. Server was great. She acknowledged our special ocassion and I appreciate that. With this fine tuning on my next visit, it will definitely be a 5 star experience.

Service was good but the I was disappointed with the calamari.

The clam chowder was delicious! I enjoyed the rest of my meal but the chowder really stood out. Smelled delicious as soon as we entered the restaurant! Staff was friendly, quick, and accommodating. Ground floor patio seats gave a great view of the boats and water. We were treated to some natural entertainment as a seal hunted for their own dinner beside us and the sun set on the horizon while Vancouver started to glow in the twilight. A lovely experience.

Killer location. Prices are fair. Front door staff super unfriendly. Waitress was great. Covid on point. Safe place.

I’ve been at Pier7 on almost a weekly basis for past 18months. Location is right by water with an awesome view across bay of downtown/city of Vancouver. I tried every meal and they excel in consistency. AND! You can’t miss on the freshly home-made cheese cakes!!!! Enjoy!
