Reflections: The Garden Terrace

Beautiful place for light food and delicious drinks. The ambiance is unbeatable and the service is really great! Only downside is it's not always open :(

Sitting on a rooftop terrace with a cocktail on a sunny day is always fun. This past summer, I had a strong urge to check out a rooftop bar, so my boyfriend and I thought to give this place a shot. Upon entering, I was so impressed with the garden theme and the stylish furniture. The downside was the view or more like lack of it. All I could see, in whichever direction I was in, were the windows and bricks of this hotel. So yes, definitely don't come here to see the downtown landscape 'cause you won't be able to. After work, at around 6 on a work day, it's SO crowded here and we were lucky to get bar seats without a reservation. The cocktail was good, though very pricey, and the service was prompt and professional. However, due to the noise level, my boyfriend and I had to really lean in to one another to hold a conversation. I liked the overall design of Reflections and their drink options, but I wouldn't come here to have a private or intimate conversation or to completely unwind.

One of the best rooftop spots in Vancouver! Very trendy and stylish. Dress to impress for sure. Great spot for photos. Food and drinks are absolutely amazing, especially their local and seasonally sourced cocktails. Gets rather busy in the summer, so it's best to go as a duo- or make reservations in advance.

This is a nice, upscale rooftop lounge. The drinks are pricey, but good. There are non alcoholic beverages as well. The interior is beautiful! The food is good and boads are presented in a rustic wooden style. Great for sharing. The wild mushroom flatbread is tasty and the jambon and chicken croquettes were amazing. The service was ok. I would prefer great service over mediocrity. Especially when it is an upscale eatery.

Favorite place to hang out in Vancouver when it's open. The terrace is seasonal. They make the best cocktails in Canada. Food is always excellent and the prices are shockingly low for such quality, taste and presentation. Staff is awesome. The entire terrace looks great and it's a nice quiet spot to chill in YVR.
