Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe in Ottawa

I needed travel visas for a trip to Zimbabwe. I got most of the information I needed from the website but I still had some questions so I called the Embassy. The woman with whom I spoke knew all the answers. She was very helpful. When I brought our passports and supporting materials to the Embassy, she processed them very quickly and had them back to me within a couple of hours. Then I had a couple of follow-up questions and she answered those quickly as well. I was very pleased with the friendly and efficient service that I received.

Passport application was easy, helped me get everything done in under an hour. When my passport was issued, they accepted it at the embassy and will mail it straight to you as long as you provide the envelope with address and details. Professional, courteous, and easy to work with.

Felt welcomed. The lady I spoke to was genuinely concerned with my well being.

I just spoke to some lady on the phone. Had some important questions and she kept saying saying "the information is on the website, go look at the website." She didnt give me any real information. Passports have not been coming out since last year June and this lady pretended as if she didnt know that. All I needed was a letter stating same, and she kept saying the information is on the website. No it's not. There is no information on what to do when the passports are not being issued out. She kept saying "you should have done it earlier" as if I didnt try that already. I'm sure your job is stressful but so are these kind of situations. Very unhelpful
