Please do not forget mask, wash your hand for 20 second or more and the most important two meters distance, be safe .

You can find everything you need at great price. It's smaller then other warehouse stores so there's more waiting to get what you want because you have to order it and pick it up from the back. So there's a wait inside then there's a wait outside.

Great way to save money, it's REALLY cheaper than anywhere else, for the same item. However, in a time of COVID, the store isn't adapted properly: half of everything they have to sell, you need to go through a counter and ask for an order to pick it up in the yard. The problem with this is that you need to take a ticket with a number, (yes, 1975 style) and wait nearby for them to yell your number. Because of this, everyone gathers around the counter, no one wears masks and everyone is within a few inches of everyone. Each alleys are very narrow, making the 2m guideline impossible. Besides the employees at the actual counters (paint, materials, exterior), most of them are EXTREMELY young, inexperienced and completely demotivated. Unless you know what you're doing, don't bother asking employees for guidance: they know little more than where the trolleys are. If you go in the yard, try to spot anyone older than 16, walking faster than 2km an hour... It's the "drag your feet" festival back there. Because it's so cheap, it gathers A LOT of people. I can't blame them, I've been there a few times now as I'm completely redoing my first floor, but for now, it is not safe. If you go, wear a mask and avoid touching your face until you can wash your hands. It'll also get better as the kids grow up into their job and can actually guide you in your DIY projects.

The only thing good are prices don't think you will find knowledgeable people at Canac ...

Website inventory does not match in store availability. Good service. Some clerks wear their protective masks under their nose, making them useless.
