Walmart Supercentre

I don't typically shop here but I went in just at the last minute as I was missing some ingredients for a dinner and everything else had already closed. It was sort of a 'I will take the chance' trip, not expecting to find what I needed. It was the cleanest and most organized I have ever seen this location! The store isn't known for a wide variety of choices for its many items and products but I was surprised how they've expanded the number of items and products in the food department, specifically the international foods section. I was quite content that I was able to walk out with everything I needed. I also appreciated the steps they've taken to keep their staff and customers safe during this time of covid.

Terrible customer service. The employees seem to hate their jobs. The illusion of low prices. Go shop at Costco. You'll pay less, the employees make more money and are happier. Don't support this low life retailer out to rob you and their employees.

I purchased a Wahl haircutting kit from Walmart.ca on July 2, 2020. It was returned to Walmart on September 17, 2020 - well within their return window. I noticed in early November that they still had not issued a refund for the $86.44 that they owe me and called them on the 4th. The rep said that, although their system indicated that a refund had been issued, she would escalate the matter and have someone issue a manual refund. On November 6, I received an email from Walmart that said my "return request has been cancelled." I immediately phoned them to find out what was going on and they told me that, because a manual refund was being issued, they had to send me that "return request has been cancelled" email. It is now December 7 and I have not yet seen that refund. Therefore, I have just filed a complaint with the credit card dispute team and am now posting this negative review. Needless to say, we will NEVER shop at Walmart again and we will be posting negative reviews wherever and whenever possible.

They are doing renovations and I am liking the new layout so far! Staff is always very friendly and good covid protocols. Very happy to hear masks are now a requirement!

Got great customer service there today. Thank you Alec/Alex for changing my wiper. I still think the red hair dye would be an awesome colour on you. Lol
