Costco is the anti-amazon. Kirkland is very good about supporting and buying from local suppliers despite the monolithic infrastructure they have in the states. Excellent quality assurance in their supply chain and industry leading return policies mean you can minimize the food waste your family generates. Just avoid the giant jars of mayo. Let's be real, you're never going to finish that and you'll throw half of it away.

Store itself is fine, people need to follow social distancing and isle rules which too many are not

This Costco is huge, well stocked and has a good layout. It also has a gas station and Lots of parking. We've had consistently great assistance and help from staff and have enjoyed easy and quick shopping trips at this location but consider the time that you are visiting as, when this location is busy, it is BUSY! When we moved to Saanich this Costco had so many things that we immediately needed. It is easily accessible from home and as members, great gas prices. We've never had anything to eat here, but the lineup for the takeaway counter is always lengthy - so, it's popular. We like this location.

Would have given 5 stars but this place is dangerous. If you give this place a visit, be ready to spend at least 40-50% more than your original estimate because these guys have some of the craziest and best deals... Only until you get back home and start putting stuff in your fridge realizing how much you never needed in the first place! However, they have one of the best return policies so they got you covered + ensured a second visit 😆 Happy shopping!
