British Airways Galleries Lounge

This BA lounge is unlike any other Ive ever visited. The fact that it is so small and offers a much more personal service makes it unique. The opening times are limited but thats based on the one flight in and one out of Vancouver Airport on a daily basis - This was my findings based on the BA winter schedule. The section of food on offer was much more detailed in relation to say the super large Heathrow sites. This is a lounge where a more personal service really works. That service relies on well training and experienced staff which I experienced on my visit. An excellent business class experience

The business lounge is good, but needs a bit more selection on sandwiches. Drink and food selections are good. Overall is good but not as good as Turkish airlines Istanbul lounge or Emirates Dubai terminal 3 lounge

Staff count your whiskey drinks. Went for second whiskey, was told im over my limits according to the bc liquor act. Was told the attendant watched me pour more. Never in thirty years of travel in international business lounges experienced this. Actually ridiculous hilarious! And the front office staff attendant not that interested in her task. No tv screen to check boarding etc. would definitely do another carrier out of vancouver in future

Enjoyable lounge and despite being small there was an adequate selection of snacks and lots of variety drinks wise. What made it special was the attentive and caring attitude of the staff, especially the ladies on duty in the lounge. Comfortable seating however there is limited space, so get there early.

I defo recommend the clam chowder
