Lowe's Home Improvement

Stay away from big box American owned stores, poorly paid, high staff turn over and badly trained staff don't make a great mix. Buy locally. We have great hardware and lumber yards, right here locally,.. and best of all: THEY ARE CANADIAN STORES. In fact some of the owners are local residents and they have staff that has been with the company for over 20 years!...which a good indication of how employees are treated.

Since we're getting ready for our home renovation, we tried looking up online reliable wood distributor. Several stores are closed maybe because of the pandemic. However, this Lowe's Home Improvement showed up open. So we visit their store. In the process, They really got nice selection of woods,we avail some of their thickest one. The quality was also good. No doubt with the price. Will never look for any distributor.

The customer service at Lowe's cannot be beat! This has been true of Every location we've visited and we refer Lowe's to many people we know. The location in the Tillicum Centre is expansive, has two floors and is staffed by some helpful and dedicated people. 👍

It's a massive store. Quite spacious with lots of inventory. The staff that helped me were great. I was able to quickly find what I was looking for and get on my way.

Staff were quite helpful, it took 3 of them to figure out what aisle I was looking for but we found it!
