Stedmans Variety Dept Store

Thank goodness for Stedmans and their sewing notions and supplies...no need to travel to Nanaimo when I need supplies in a pinch! Awesome!

Just make sure you have no bags / other shopping with you when going in to shop.Had my small reusuable bag with me and was told to leave it at cashier.I know the policy is for large backpacks and probably for good reason but made to feel like I was a thief...Just left and will shop somewhere else in the future..

I love this place. A great old fashioned variety/notions store. A bit of everything from housewares to seasonal clothing, toys, bird feeders, stationary etc,etc.

Was out of a lot of crochet hook options but that is super specific. Otherwise good selection of a ton of things
