The employee identified by MNWEB (and Long & McQuade indirectly) could benefit from some customer service training.
He is not there only to receive money from customers and give them the product, is he? That is what vending machines do, and vending machines are never rude or sarcastic.
Customers may not be familiar with sizes, shapes, etc. of musical instruments and they may not know what the correct one is for their needs. Employees should be there to help, not to be rude and sarcastic.
