I'm giving top marks only for the variety of cool products and food in this store! Being part Japanese it means that much more to me. What is seriously lacking, however, is the customer service. Upon today's visit I could not find a staff member to assist me. I was looking for a barber's hair cutting cape, which I did find eventually on my own at a great price. Unacceptable. Where are the staff? I only found 2 and they were at the checkout. This was a very slow experience, plus they make it worse by charging you 5 cents for a plastic bag. Isn't it enough that I continue to patronize your store? I want to rate this store better; however, due to today's unsatisfactory experience, and because I have encountered some unfriendly staff here in the past, I am giving the rating that I did. Please improve your customer experience here. Arigatogozaimasu (thank you in Japanese).

Easy to find in the mall and a fair selection of products. Good sticker and sticky note selection in the back. Frequently updates seasonal merchandise.

Price is right Little over pricey than the dollar stores but higher quality products you can get here. Willing to visit again soon.

Lots of cool stuff from Japan that you can't easily get at a reasonable cost.

Nice store in Coquitlam branch! Neat and tidy. Selection is better than expect and I did found something that Aberdeen Center store not stock, what a surprise. Parking is ample and rooftop stall above the store is super convenience. Friendly service and good price over many selection!
