Firstly I was denied access to a bathroom told they were closed and the part that was supposedly in stock wasn't however the girl helping me look for the part was extremely helpful took the time to look and then proceeded to explain the best way I can go about getting it from another store online to save it so it's there when I go get it rote rote down part number for me for easy reference and was courteous and friendly as I'm walking through the aisle I over hear another guy he has to use the bathroom and was told he can use it as a at his own risk soooo?.. 🤔 I did however find a very large tote in The Bargain Bin that says item as is with crack on edge and the crack is less than an inch can easily be fixed and it was only $15 for what is regular almost $40 so that makes up for a little bit and the young lady at the till was helpful friendly and professional always been hit or miss with Canadian Tire today I'll call it a swing-and-a-miss and then a hit with batter on second one thumb up will say it's nice to see staff at work smiling seems rare these days

Canadian tire is ok in Parksville. Its a cramped store. But they usually have what you need.

It's Canadian Tire. You know what you get.

This store offers an interesting array of examples to what a toxic work environment could look like and how one should treat its customers; a. Floor staff are rude and will intentionally lead you astray when looking for something… then joke about it with their cohorts before you’ve even left the aisle. b. Cashiers will entertain those standing in line with a conversation about their escapades last night, while intentionally ignoring all three waiting customers. c. Whoever is responsible for stocking the Electrical, Plumbing and Tool shelves must have gotten their training at a fast food place… it’s all the same, just put it anywhere there’s an empty spot. Solution; Go to one of the Home Hardware Stores (Parksville/French Creek), they enjoy helping their customers with a sense of small town friendliness. (No, I don’t work at either… just a shopper who likes great service.) PS, I’ll thank you in advance for the 1-800- I don’t really care #.

Very limited stock and closing at 5pm is absolutely ridiculous. Many people would shop here after that if able to! Dimming the lights right at 4:59 just shows that the ownership do not seem to care about the customers at all.
