4pm on a Tuesday we arrived to find them locking the door. Their sign says they close a 5. We drove 40 minutes to be here, so I wasn't too pleased about that.

Great location with easy access. The staff is super cool and friendly. They are sure to greet you with a warm smile as you enter. Yet give you tons of space to browse at your leisure, but ready to help when you are ready. Their facility is clean and organized. They have a wide range of useful for someone "stuff." Great cause.

The Friday ladies Heddy and Hannah are lovely, lovely people and so helpful. We have managed to virtually buy a new home through Restore @ Castlegar and their help was invaluable. We met some other volunteers today (Jesse and another lady at the till) and they were just as lovely. We cannot recommend Castlegar Restore too highly and urge you to pay a visit. There is some really top quality stuff there at a price most can afford and the proceeds help local homeless people. Win/Win all around.
