Consulate General of Jamaica

I really have better tings to do but had to write this , so people can know what they getting into. So I have been here multiple times and after 2 years and spending over 500 CAD for pictures, signature and shipping the incorrect information to Jamaica. I still cannot get the correct information from these persons, honestly they do not know what they are doing or don't care to actually get the information to help, on how to get the Jamaican driver license history so the I can have more driving experience on my Canadian license, as I have been driving for over 8 years. Again have been here multiple time and NO ONE, not even the top official there;whom I had a chance to speak to knows what she is doing because the information she provided me the second time is not what the constant spring tax office wants then she is going to say that constant spring does know what they are doing. Fine. Ok. So why even after you provide me with written instructions and I follow them and paid a second time, Constant Spring Tax office reply was ' This information you provided is incorrect. So at the end of the day people you not really getting a service your just paying for pictures and signature. If you don't know exactly what you need, god go wid you 🙏🏽..... PS. No. I am not confusing anything. Please do not downplay my interaction here because it was not a pleasant experience. I did originally come to do my driver license renewal , which you guys should have know even if I started the process up here I would have to personally go and collect it in Jamaica at Constant Spring, which no one informed me of this. And even after I flew to Jamaica and got my license the process after to get my driver history was still confusing being that I am trying to get information from person who don't really want to help because the job isn't what they thought or whatever the case may be I/ME spent 3 days and alot of hours in the office and going back and forth. And to this day it was still a WASTE of time and money for me as I couldn't get assistance as a Jamaican from the Consulate General of Jamaica.

Great staff and very professional. The lady at the front desk is very professional and she knows what she's doing and she's is very professional, attentive and fast! The wait time is okay given that the process of a passport application can be tedious. I went there in August and all the staff were super professional and attentive, they were practicing social distancing and everyone was cooperative. I recommend this place 100%. To be honest, it's faster than the passport office in Kingston Jamaica

You would think that being in Canada poor customer service would be obsolete in Jamaican run organization. Not with this one. With Changes due to Covid-19, customer services has severely depleted, After sending several emails to query a matter, no feedback has been received. Don't even try calling their telephone lines, as that is even far worst. They need to do better or find person who can.

The women at the Consulate are very professional and nice. They always give you the easiest ways to go about whatever application/service that you need. My visits here are always easy and quick.
