I can not believe a country would put this kind people to represent them. I canceled my entire trip because of the incompetence and racist comments made to my wife and I. We went there to get a tourist visa for my wife who has Iranian nationality, the representative told us to get a hotel reservations in Cuzco and to come back. After getting a hotel reservation we went back, but this time the same guy told her, in a disrespectful way, that this consulate was only for Canadian residents or citizens and that if she wants the visa that she should go to her country and get it there. By the way there is no Peruvian consulate or embassy in Iran. And if this was the case why didn't he say that in first place. Before leaving he mentioned that he was going to try to do her a favor and talk to embassy to get her a visa, but she needed more documents. Which again contradicts what he said before. Don't waste your time here.
